I read that the sororities cost about 2k a semester , I'm a transfer from Bama and the sorority fees and dues were double that. is this accurate!? Or are there extra cost that aren't already figured in .

a few are even $500 a semester! Most of them are around $1000 a semester

I'd say average chapter is $750-$1000 a semester!

Yes that's accurate but it goes up a few hundred dollars if you live in the house.

At Alabama you eat all of your meals in your house. Only a few houses here at UT have meals everyday. That is one of the reasons it's cheaper.
