by: -Do you notice that the top sororities are the ones that receive the most criticism/ hate?? That's because other sorority girls get on here bc it's anonymous and try to bring other sororities down. Don't listen to the negative comments or base a decision on them, because it's not fair. You'll see that a lot of top houses will have comments like "they all hate each other" because that's the only thing that can't be seen through recruitment. Things like grades, looks, social life, etc aren't criticized for top houses on here because those can be "seen" or recognized core clearly. Other girls outside of the sorority have NO idea what their sisterhood is like so don't listen to comments like that, just a tip. There's so many great women in each sorority, don't let anyone sway your decision. Decide for yourself and what's best for you :)

I see that happen so much with Phi Mu and KD.....like they're awesome girls and have a great rep around campus but on here, it's Like complete opposite. And what kills me is when people say sororities "self rank" like 1) this site is anonymous so...what? lol 2) I would bet that no sorority really cares that much and 3) that's the easiest way to make people think the positive comments aren't true when in reality, they are. I love ALL the women on this campus, there are INCREDIBLE girls in EACH chapter, and PNM's would be lucky in any one (: don't listen to this site!

People form opinions about a sorority's sisterhood based on the way they hear their friends in these chapters talk about their sisters. People say sororities like KD and Phi Mu have horrible sisterhoods because people constantly hear members talking poorly about other members in their own chapter.

If their sisterhood is so lacking then why does KD and phi mu have such high retention rates and high house totals? For the facts, go to the Go Greek site and click on resources and then NPC. There it list all house member totals and GPAs. The top six houses are always in the top six of those stats year after year. I agree with OP. Haters pick on popular houses but the facts prove otherwise. In fact, the houses that claim to have such a great sisterhood just happen to be the houses that struggle to keep up membership numbers year after year. And the houses that have such a bad sister hood have the highest retention rates. Proof that this site is for haters only.

MY POINT EXACTLY.....like people accuse Phi Mu and KD of having poor sisterhoods, yet they consistently have the highest retention rates/member totals....which completely proves that they don't have a poor sisterhood. Like I think both groups of women are TOTAL sweethearts, I don't know why people think they don't have a good sisterhood. It's honestly just impossible for an outsider to judge a sorority's sisterhood anyway because they're not a part of it so they only judge based on what they hear....most likely being a rumor that another sorority created in an effort to bring them down lol lets all just love each other

that KD does well during rush. Their retention rates during rush are really high. KD's problem, and why you hear talk about their sisterhood, it that they have a high dropout rate during members junior and senior years. I am not talking about those that graduate early. Every sorority has that. In 2 different living situations I have had roommates who were KDs. They dropped because the constant drama among sisters wore away at them. Once the fun of freshman and sophomore years were over, the drama was not worth the money they were spending to be unhappy in the sorority.

I have a lot of friends in KD and I've never heard them talk about sisterhood issues...in fact, they talk about how surprisingly well they get along. I even texted them just now asking them bc I read this post and I was curious if there was a lot of drama haha but anyway, they said that they had never experienced any drama and didn't know anyone who did either. My guess would be that the sisterhood issues are all just rumors
