This chapter absolutely disgusts me. I spent 2 of my undergrad years in it, and was constantly bullied, harassed, and made fun of. However, I tried to make the best of it because I wanted to become a part of a community and make friends. I was always nice to the other girls, even when they weren’t exactly nice to me. Now I’m an alum and an adult woman, and I’m still being harassed online via TikTok. I hope the girls in Pi Phi nowadays find better “friends” than I ever did and don’t put up with the petty BS I did.

coming from the other side of the country this year and rushing i wanted to find my sisters but instead i kept getting invited back to this house. i have never felt more uncomfortable around a group of women. waste of my time completely. this house should not even be apart of the village when every girl rather drop than be a member. embarrassing for University of Tennessee. they have zero sisterhood.

Honestly the only reason I think these girls aren’t ranked higher is because they let in women with different body types. Honestly I think that’s great. These are the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet and the most fun to hang out with. All around genuine people

Pi Phi is honestly an amazing sorority. The real reason why they’re not popular is because they don’t care about looks or body type. Regardless there are quite a few hidden gems that are super gorgeous! Lots of the girls go out, especially to liter, but some girls prefer to stay in. They also hold their liquor better than any other sorority I’ve seen. They’re working to be more involved. Give pi phi a chance, the girls are really sweet and laid back!

I’m disgusted by the sorority bashing! The sororities at UTK are horrible. If you’re not blond, orange, anorexic and easily manipulated you’re weird. So sad! UTK has no community or sisterhood in their village. Pi Phi’s are the kindest girls you’ll meet. They have values, are committed to sisterhood, lifelong friendships, quality leadership and inclusivity. A lesson the other 12 sororities need to learn. It’s unfortunate but the mindset in the village,closed-minded and bigoted, is what is wrong with this country today! It’s too bad the other sororities (and I use that word loosely) in the UTK sorority village have no morals and values. If speaking badly of the Pi Phi’s, using your Gamma Chi’s to manipulate PNM’s to drop Pi Phi bids, outwardly lying to PMN’s using rumors and false truths and not having Pi Phi’s represented on the Panhellenic council makes you feel better of your slanderous behavior then I feel sorry for the whole bunch of you! What a difficult life you will have! It really is pathetic how this process went down this year! The University of Tennessee should be ashamed that they don’t have better control of this process. There is no fidelity for the recruitment process here!

I think it says more about you then it does about the people in pi phi that you're willing to look at their weight first. I definitely wouldn't want to be associated with whatever chapter you're affiliated with.

This sorority is awesome. I remember when I was going through recruitment they always made sure I was having a really comfortable experience. I’ve never met a pi phi I didn’t like. They’re an awesome group of girls with an amazing sisterhood. I didn’t end up calling pi phi my home, but if I did I know that I’d be more than happy. There rep is the only thing holding them back, but even then all the gossip is meaningless. Love pi phi
