Not in Greek life but going into my senior year at UTC so I’ve been around the sororities a lot. Every DZ I’ve come in contact with has been soo nice. You can definitely tell that are very involved in campus and philanthropies just from an outside perspective. I wish I would have rushed DZ when I was in my earlier years at UTC

Everyone in ADPi is so sweet and everyone seems to love eachother. Downside is that they’re not very involved on campus and aren’t big on going out to events or parties.

I was in DZ for a while so I know what the sisterhood is really like. I held a few lower cabinet positions, and was not looked down on for it, however the sisters are quick to judge. I found it very difficult to make friends within the sorority, besides my big, although I am very outgoing and had no trouble making friends outside of DZ. I dreaded going to events because I felt very awkward and out of place within my own sorority. Going into rush I loved everything DZ stood for and the people i talked to during recruitment were very warm and friendly. As soon as bid day came around I was ecstatic to see Delta Zeta on my bid. That soon changed. After bid day nobody who recruited me spoke to me and if they did it was brief. I realized at the end of the year that i wasted so much money on a sorority that would never allow me to fit in. I was never invited to Mexi Mondays, birthday parties, or really anything for that matter unless it was a sisterhood event. For the sisters who fit in and made friends, all the power to you. Just try to make sure everyone feels that way... since its a sisterhood... not a clique.

The sisterhood is a joke. Too many cliques. If you aren’t in the top clique then you don’t matter at all in sorority. The girls do nothing but gossip behind eachothers backs. It’s so upsetting seeing girls pay money and think that these are their friends. I have friends who are KD’s and all they do is complain about it.

I have friends in KD who complain about the drama and cliques within the chapter ALL of the time. They used to be very kind, involved on campus girls but the last new member class was recruited off looks. They have turned very self obsessed and every interaction is for their own interest. It's not as good as it looks on the inside trust me

Not the worst, not great either. They go to a lot of parties and philanthropy events but always complain about eachother and their sorority.
