What's Hot - University of the Pacific - UOP

Very cliquey and very divided. You either get amazing, extremely classy, and involved girls, or gossipy girls who never stop partying. There has been an overall attitude problem with this group, and yes, drama last semester, but it shouldn't be a lasting reflection on the house.

Can't say anything bad about them. They have all types of girls, yes, some more awkward than others, but there are a few girls who are the exception to this rule and that just makes them even more appealing. It's better to be a big fish in a small pond than be part of a house that's known for bad behavior.

A few members of Aphi definitely shook up the way they are viewed on campus. But as a whole, the girls seem to be trying really hard to improve Greek relations. The drama that happened last semester should definitely not be a reflection on the whole house.

Though some of the best girls I know come from APhi, they do have some issues. There is an air of superiority that comes from them that is more than just having pride in your sorority. They would do well to try and open up relationships with other organizations, both fraternities and sororities, and realize it's on both organizations to try and build a relationship, not just one. They do, however, have a number of nice, genuine girls, who DO have class, despite a slightly flawed organization.

They are a very genuine group of ladies. They don't give in to petty drama (for the most part), and care about a lot more than partying (but they can have fun when they want). Not the most physically attractive, sure (other than a few pretty attractive girls), but that is no judge of their character. Some can be a bit overwhelming and need to calm down a bit, but overall, they are a very nice group of people to be around.

Overall, they are a decent group of guys. I really like the older guys in the fraternity, they seem very level-headed and are genuinely good people. I don't like the way some of the younger guys act, especially the most recent pledge class. They have an irrational hatred for the other fraternities on campus, and need to calm their egos. They are good guys to be around if you can, but sometimes they're a bit exclusive to just them and the sororities. Overall good, but they have some problems.

They party, and they throw a lot of them. It's unfortunate that people take that to mean they are good people. "Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen" is bull. They are athletes, and some of them are leaders, but they aren't much of scholars, and they most certainly aren't gentlemen. They have very little respect for women or men that aren't interested in Pike. They are fun to be with on a shallow level, but they are what you would consider "douche bags." A few good guys, but most aren't.

Exclusivity may be a turnoff for some people; though this can also be interpreted as selectivity and high standards, which is a welcomed alternative from the "quantity over quality" approach others adopt.
