The kind of fraternity that will steal from you and lie about it to your face, but will file a police report when “something was stolen from their house”. Boohoo boys, stop whining and either 1. Stop stealing from other people or 2. Put big boy pants on and find your letters.

Is trying to move away from their mom-vibes, but you ever see someone at a party that looks like they stand out like a sore thumb? The meghan trainor of sororities- all about that base, and not in a good way. stick to your disney sing alongs and pumpkin spice lattes girls.

While delta gamma was considered “top house” in years prior, that is no longer the case. Delta gamma entertains the delusion that somehow, they are still on top, while desperately clutching the onto the last minuscule shreds of their former image of pretty blonde girls. To be honest, this is not a bad house. This is realistically A top house. But the problem is, it’s not THE top house, and delta gammas superiority complex is insulting to everyone who is around it. A group of girls who to be honest, have a few pretty faces, but not nearly enough to make up for the fact that they could be more interesting and are stuck in a perpetual high school mindset of pettiness.

Honestly don’t deserve the bad rep they get. Past pledge class was decent and pretty diverse. Contains most of the dance team, as well as several pre-health majors. Full of friendly and social girls, hope to see them do better.

Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity

Willing to give bids to any and every unaffiliated girl just so the other soroties can’t recruit them. Known to dirty rush and break rules to get what they want, heard they might even be on probation this year because of this. Overall, they have some decent girls but a lot of random ones who had to beg for a bid.

This is what I gather the generally agreed upon opinion is of DG. Basically they’ve changed a lot and as other reviews say the trend is negative. They definitely used to be arguable as top a few years ago, yet every year their pledge class has gotten worse due to poor recruiting. The funny thing is I don’t think the way they recruit has changed and that’s what hurt them. DG always recruited based on looks, and yeah sororities are pretty image based so it’s not just them, but they’re very race based and mostly only go for white girls with like 2 token minorities. So in the past their strategy of “only white girls” kind of worked to keep them up top because they got fun social girls (obviously this created internal drama and poor sisterhood but socially they were strong). So over the years they kept doing this and didn’t realize that quality is more than skin deep and that’s why their latest pledge class is honestly just weird white girls. So they lost the social standing since none of the frats like hanging out with them but they kept all the internal problems. In the same semester some of the “faces” or most well known DG seniors dropped too which hurt them. They’re still a top tier house, but you can’t argue they’re above Alpha Phi.

Alpha Phi is hated on sometimes because they are top house, but it is for good reason. Girls are jealous of them because they are the most well-rounded and some guys even find them intimating. They are always found in the library, parties, events, and also work on campus and usually involved in other things. You will always catch an Alpha Phi involved in other associations, clubs, and they hold the most diversity in my opinion. I think they rightfully are top house and the other sororities get bitter about it, but i think they deserve the title. They're classy, fun, genuine, and pretty. Finally, they seem to actually enjoy being in a sorority and sisterhood is strong from an outsider's POV.
