I went through recruitment last year and just didn't have a great experience at Delta. Out of all the other sororities, they just weren't friendly/welcoming AT ALL. A lot of the other girls in my recruitment group mentioned the same thing to me.

Strong philanthropy in St. Judes, national recognition for fund raising efforts. Kind and accepting of all others.

I think with any sorority you are going to run into drama, gossip, and pettiness—that’s inevitable, but one thing I have admired in Delta is the effort they have put in to eradicate these behaviors not only within the house but within the officer structure. Not many would sit through hours of discussing what we are doing wrong and how we are treating other and very few would actually change policy and act to change it. I’m very proud of these girls and how far they have come and I’m proud that everyone has had a space to use their voice no matter how long they have been a member or whether or not they have an officer position. I would rather join a sorority that is willing to have hard conversations and own up to their past than one that sweeps it under the rug to seem nice and collected.

Try Delta is absolutely amazing. They are very excepting and they have plenty of girls who are interested in different fields of studying. They have all different kinds of friends throughout all of the different fraternities and sororities. Their sisterhoods are usually very fun and unique. And their philanthropy, St. Jude, is very dear to them. They tend to raise more money than the other chapters. Their philanthropy events are very fun and they like to involve everyone in the community.

Great work with their philanthropy and despite their issues with sisterhood, they are still able to come together in times of need and help people wherever needed. Some of the best people on this campus in general and more specifically, in Greek life.

This chapter really only sticks to themselves, definitely friendly but cliquey. Doesn’t really branch out.
