Because they only have to take 3 women. Having an open house and 60 pnms show up when they can only take 3 would be hard on them and pnms as well. It is the recommended choice for their chapter this year. I can also assure you other chapters will be doing this as well.

I beg to differ. My chapter is only taking 3-4 women as well, but we're still at least having an open event on the first day. All other 9 chapters are doing open events on January 18th except for KD who's doing invite only, which truthfully makes them look a bit stuck up. Like sorry to all the awesome girls going through that don't happen to already be friends with a KD?

It's not like KD got to vote on whether or not it was an open event or invite only. The entire chapter was told it wasn't a group choice. Please don't lump them all together based off of what you hear.
