This isn't true... I know plenty of women from a handful of different chapters that were not asked back to their house during fall recruitment but then got a bid in spring.

False. I know for a fact that my friend went through formal recruitment and DG dropped her so she dropped out of recruitment and then went back in the spring and got a bid from them.
