second recruitment
by: meHow do the sororities view women who have gone through formal once before? Would having a better resume(gpa, leadership, recommendations, etc) next year or in the spring work in my favor to having more sororities giving me a chance?
#2 by: No
We remember you if you're going through for a 2nd time, and unless you've changed so much that there's something about you that really impresses us, we're more likely to drop you the 2nd time than the first. Just being honest. Especially if a house has dropped you by now, you will not come back after spirit day next year.

So that's not true. I went through twice and had good experiences both times. It really doesn't matter, I had top sororities invite me both times around. Sometimes circumstances are foreseen and you're not able to complete recruitment the first time around and thats completely understandable. I wouldn't really mention it unless you want to say you've seen growth in yourself that can better that particular sorority.
Don't let anything or anyone of these comments deter your confidence because if the sorority see's you apart of their sisterhood then you have nothing to worry about!

This isn't true!! I know plenty of people who went through formal recruitment twice and had much better results the better time around. for example I know someone who went chi-o then dropped and the second time around she became a tri-delt.. I also know someone who went ADPi and then dropped and her second time around she went tri-delt too.
