Looking through these comments makes me sad, not too many posts exemplify the true Panhellenic life that truly exists here. I feel the need to share my thoughts and what I experienced throughout my first year as a Panhellenic woman at USF.
Before rushing last fall, I researched into each sorority on campus. I wanted to be sure I knew a little bit more about them than just meeting the ladies during recruitment. I too looked on this site (because how could you not? Its one of the first things that pops up on google when you research Greek life at USF). I knew which sorority I preferred before scavenging the pages, and even so, I felt myself getting upset and defensive about every chapter because even during recruitment after I had met some of the most amazing women in each and every chapter I didn't agree with the opinions most had to say. I went through recruiment with an open mind and I can say I truly found a great fit of women that is easy for me to get along with. I know this is where I belong my sisters are amazing; but what I found through life in Panhellenic was something more than that.
Many of my best friends are each a part of a different organization here on campus. I met them through classes, knew some from elementary school, and even worked with a few this summer. Whats so great about Panhellenic at USF is the fact that we are all equal.
