advice
by: LegacyI am a legacy to both Zeta and Kappa Delta. What are the opinions on campus and out of the two which one should I go? I haven't really heard good things about zeta from my friends who go to usf but are not greek and the only thing I have heard about kappa delta is that they are good but do not compete in things as much as the other top houses. Does that matter alot?

You should go through recruitment and keep an open mind at every chapter. Every one has something special to offer. I had two legacies in my pi chi group last year and both went to different chapters on bid day than their mothers or sisters did. Take this chance to find the chapter that is best for you, both KD and ZTA are excellent chapters, but the other 7 are too. Usf Greek life is not that serious just relax and find the women you want to be with, enjoy the process!

Why do you think everyone cries when they get dropped from ADPi. They are the best looking ones. Do you remember going through and being so envious of the girls who got that bid card. I'm sure you do. Why don't you check your trophy room...oh wait. You don't have one. There is a ranking system and there will always be one in life. Try harder because ADPi sure does.

Well then...I really just wanted to know about those two chapters because I am a legacy, but honestly just by all of the rude comments back and forth about other chapters and the way people are speaking to each other makes me not want to rush at all. I would rather make nice friends else where..

Some people need to seriously grow up and stop hiding behind social media to say things that they wouldn't dare to say to anyone's face. She was just trying to be nice. KD, ZTA, AND ADPI are all very good organizations you can't base your decision off of what you hear because you'll end up making the wrong decision and be miserable. You'll hear something negative about every greek organization, but if I had let them get to me when I went through recruitment I would have never met all of my amazing sisters who show me everyday that I made the right decision by running home to them. I can't see myself wearing any other letters but mine, and that's how your organization should make you feel. So when going through recruitment you need to go with an open mind because you never know, one may take you by surprise

^^^ Do not listen to this person. First of all, none of our sisters are actually shallow or dumb enough to say something like that on here. No one is fooled by your pathetic attempt to make us look bad. Nice try, though.
Listen to Former Pi Chi. They are both amazing chapters, but just because you're a legacy doesn't mean you have to choose one of them unless you want to! Recruitment is all about finding your home, with sisters you click with and can see yourself becoming close to.
You'll hear stereotypes about every chapter, but take them with a grain of salt. Ever notice how these rumors (like that Zeta "isn't good" or KD "doesn't participate") are never nice? That's because the girls spreading them either don't know what they're talking about or are letting jealousy get the best of them. Sororities are for making friends and having fun, so stop worrying about how each organization is viewed and get to know the girls in them!
