what your tier means
by: bffr
some people don’t really understand what a tier system is, so let’s break it down
FOR FRATS
top: self explanatory
upper mid: youre basically a top house but not as big of a name. most people know at least one person in the top houses but they might not know anybody from yours. you might not be a household name like zbt pike or phidelt but people def know you and have good things to say mostly
mid: i mean its just the same two frats who will always be here, but you guys go! everyone knows you exist but not everyone knows you. this is where aepi and sae go lol.
lower mid: your frat is on the decline for whatever reason. either a bad rush or a situation happened that makes nobody like you anymore.
bottom: basically irrelevant, some of the lower tier sororities might hang out with you but unfortunately people in upper tier sororities are kinda gonna just make fun of you (sorry sig pi personally ily but just to lyk)
SORORITIES
Top: You not only have the prettiest girls, but the nicest and most fun to be around. If a frat guy hears you’re in a top house you’ll notice his attitude change REAL QUICK lol
Mid: Not everyone might be supermodels but everyone loves you guys. Usually has more personality than other houses and much more fun at parties than top houses.
Lower: Still full of beautiful women, just maybe not by conventional greek standards (which is totally okay!) From my experience lower tier sororities have the most fun events bc they don’t care about holding up some sort of image.
bottom: sorry but if you cried at pref day bc you were standing in line for a specific house then that says it all.
