why does everyone here hate on zbt and pi kapp

I am an incoming freshman in the summer and I have always been interested in Greek life (ATO legacy...they are not here, I know). Looking through these discussions, I've seen these two fraternites get ragged on a lot. Can anyone give me honest descriptions of these chapters and what makes them so bad or weird?

I can tell you are a greek here trying to bash on ZBT and pikaap, only cause if you discussion . You seen way more sigma chi and sig ep. So try again sig chi, stupid idiot

You see my fellow rushee, it's the same kid talking crap about Sigma Chi. They're a top fraternity and revert the subject ot them everytime. They're jealous that they didn't get a bid.

PiKapp is a great group of guys. The other fraternities are just mad because PiKapp got chartered a few years ago, and they are rising through the tiers. They're a stand up group of guys who also very involved on campus.
I can't tell you anything about ZBT.

ZBT gets a bad rap due to their internal issues lately and visits from Nationals. However, they do not deserve the bad rep that they receive. They do decently well in IMs -- softball in particular -- and won 1st in performance in ADPi Cheer Toss. They have that ball philanthropy which raises a couple of grand every year. They have a house on campus with semi-frequent parties. All in all they're a pretty solid organization.

To any potential rushees, I suggest not basing your opinions on fraternities from this website; do some research and see which organization's values best line with your own. Check out those organizations come rush week, and go with the chapter you can best see yourself in.
