Once upon a time…
by: Pwelly
Once upon a time, there was a guy named Tim who was head over heels for a girl named Emily. Tim was a nice guy, but he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. He struggled with basic math and spelling, and often had trouble following simple instructions.
One day, Tim decided to ask Emily out on a date. He spent hours trying to come up with the perfect plan, but his limited intellect made it difficult. In the end, he decided to take her to a fancy restaurant and impress her with his knowledge of fine dining.
On the night of the date, Tim put on his best suit and headed to the restaurant. He was nervous and excited, but he was determined to win Emily's heart. When he arrived, he greeted her with a big smile and led her to their table.
As they perused the menu, Tim tried his best to impress Emily with his knowledge of culinary terms. He ordered escargot and venison, even though he had no idea what they were. When the food arrived, Tim took a bite of the escargot and recoiled in disgust. He then tried the venison and nearly choked on a bone.
Despite these setbacks, Tim soldiered on. He tried to make conversation with Emily, but he kept getting tongue-tied and saying the wrong things. At one point, he even mistook her name for "Emma" and had to apologize profusely.
In the end, the date was a disaster. Tim had tried his best, but his limited intellect had gotten in the way. Emily politely declined his offer of a second date and left the restaurant, leaving Tim to pay the bill and nurse his wounded pride.
But Tim didn't give up. He knew that he wasn't the smartest guy around, but he was determined to win Emily's heart. So, he signed up for a night class to improve his vocabulary and started reading books on romance and dating.
Months later, Tim asked Emily out again, and this time he impressed her with his newfound knowledge and charm. They fell in love, got married, and lived happily ever after. And Tim learned that sometimes, all it takes is a little effort and a lot of heart to win the girl of your dreams.
