Rushing Out of State

I am interested in attending USF in fall 2022 but I’m unsure what it’s like to rush fraternities as an out of state student. I know at schools near me in MD u pretty much have to know someone or be a legacy to have a chance but I’m not sure about what it’s like down here.

You’re fine tbh. We surprisingly have a lot of out of state kids. If you’re a good looking guy and aren’t weird you should get a bid from the top 5 even

Nah we don’t really have an old row and new row. If we did it would look something like

Old Row: founded before 1980s

Phi Delt
Sig Nu
SAE
Pike
Kappa Sig
Sig Ep
Sig Chi

Daywalkers like Blade:

Fiji
DTD

They had original charter dates in the 70s but weren’t around long enough for traditions before refounding their chapters recently

New Row: founded after 1980s

Alpha Sig
Sig Pi

It’s more of a popularity contest so being a legacy isn’t necessary but does help your chances for a bid
