truth about greek

I've been a member of Greek for 5 years and have always used this site as comic relief because of how funny It is; but recently, I've noticed a lot of kids posting stuff up about their organization and "hazing" amongst fraternities. If your either a recent pledge and or brother of a fraternity you need to understand the history of USF. Around Fall 09 a man by the name of Patrick became advisor of IFC. The same man who ratted his own chapter to nationals and led them to expulsion. This man encouraged the Greek community to believe that it was okay to tell on other fraternities under the pretense that he could wipe all of USF's fundamental greek traditions away. If your in a fraternity and your reading this, remember those stories the older brothers told you of? That's what your being robbed of. If your in a sorority, ask your older sisters about the socials they went to that weren't in an apartment. Its so sad to see how oppressed Greek is at the moment and it's all because we allowed it to become this way. No offense, but if your in a sorority at USF you won't understand, but the traditions established by these fraternities have been around for decades and rarely have ever disappointed. Heck, apparently hazing 30 years ago was the worst; yet, 40 something of our presidents have been in a fraternity during this time period. There's much more to the story, but rest assured using this site as a reference for sorority and or fraternity recruitment is wrong.
