sigma chi controversy

On September 11th, Sigma Chi revealed there African American pledge to the IFC. Some Sigma Chi members were aware of this pledge several days before.
According to the discussion section since September 11th, all posts about Sigma Chi were about tier rankings and stereotypes. Instead of bashing anyone, the content on these posts labeled Sigma Chi as a top tier southern tryhard chapter full of pretty boys.
There were 5 rankings for Sigma Chi since the chapter revealed there pledge class. One user praised the chapter as top tier and was "impressed" by their black bid. Another user called them southern tryhards.
Then all of a sudden a user says "all the fraternities are jealous" and assumes that people are showing "hate" for there black pledge.
Then another Sigma Chi on the discussion section tries to label Sigma Chi as a chapter for the "cool, preppy popular kids" and people are jealous of the recent black bid.
None of this adds up because I didn't find any content on this site making any negative comments towards the black pledge. In a matter of fact, the three references to the black pledge were actually positive and clearly the IFC community were "pleasantly surprised."
So where are the accusations of hate over the black pledge coming from?
This controversy is a fabrication and someone in the IFC are responsible so here are my 2 hypothesis.

1.) Even though Sigma Chi gave the pledge in question a bid, some might not agree with the decision. They probably have little autonomy in the chapter to kick this pledge out so what this Sigma Chi did was fabricate a minor thing into a huge story in hopes that Sigma Chi will drop the African Americans so they don't get all of this excess attention. This would mostly likely be one of the older Sigma Chis.
2.) Somebody in Sigma Chi is hesitant that the guy might not be initiated. He will blow this tiny story out of proportion so the IFC community can give the chapter and this pledge all of the attention. Hesitant to blackball the pledge because they could get even more attention and bad publicity,the chapter has no choice but to initiate the pledge. This could be a younger Sigma Chi or even the black pledge himself.
In conclusion, nobody on this site has shown a negative response to Sigma Chi's pledge class. The two posts that imply a negative response towards there pledge class don't make sense because there is nobody "showing them hate" for there pledge class other than being southern tryhards.
