bid cards

by: how do bids work

I forgot to ask this important question during some of the IFC events but

I understand that every chapter has rush parties and if they like you enough they invite you to a private dinner. Well is this private dinner where I get a bid card because I was thinking of driving back home for the weekend. Should I change my plans and stay for the private dinner if I want to get a bid? Prefer to get a response asap because I will have to tell my parents now.

You'll receive your bid Monday of next week and you usually have a day or two to accept your bid and decline the others.

Those dinners are pretty important, I'd go to it or at the very last let the Recruitment chair know that you have to go back home otherwise you would go to the dinner
