fraternity recruitment at south florida and parent

by:

So my sister goes to a school with a big Greek Life and had her big moment the other day when she officially accepted a bid to a sorority. What I didn't know was that at her school it's a tradition to have family show up at their bid rally, mingle with the sorority houses, have brunch with the ladies etc.

Well as a dude looking to rush at USF, I was wondering if it was also traditional or common for guys to bring their parents to fraternity houses, come to the bid rally etc.

Also there were younger people along with the parents, probably little brothers and sisters. Would it be appropriate for them to show up? My 15 year old sister came with us to be with my 18 year old sister for her recruitment phase.

IDK maybe once you get into a chapter you could invite your parents for some reason but at bid rally there are no parents. Just the IFC, rushees and fraternity members in the MSC ballroom.
