letters for rush

Do recommendation letters help or even matter during recruitment? I didn’t submit any and now i’m highly regretting it. Ive heard they’re really important.

At other schools they carry a lot of weight but here at usf we don’t care about them at all haha

I’m my chapter they matter. We get tons of recs for PNMs and read them. All of them. Don’t let that scare you though. Be yourself and just try to keep an open mind keeping in mind if someone is awesome and a genuine person then we will want to we them again and get to know them better each day! Don’t worry about it but to answer your question, yes for the more competitive houses they matter.
