rec letters

It may vary from chapter to chapter but for my chapter (and the impression I’ve gotten from talking to Panhellenic friends) it doesn’t really make a difference to whether or not you’re invited back, BUT it does mean you might talk to a “better” (aka more experienced) recruiter, especially if it’s a letter from a USF alum.
TLDR: helpful but not necessary.
(PS: get off this website and go into recruitment with an open mind! This is a guilty pleasure gossip rag that no one here actually takes seriously. Half the posts are trolls and the other half are blatantly biased for against someone)
