pledging as a commuter

Hey everyone I’ll be living with my parents 40 minutes away and I’m interested in rushing and joining a fraternity. I’ve done some research and read that there will be some late night “activities” and I’ve heard of hell week. USF is considered a commuter school so is it doable to pledge as a commuter? Especially as one who lives with their parents 40 minutes away?

It's doable. Just be sure that the fraternity you rush are nice people who understand.

I pledged as a commuter. There def will be late night stuff you’ll have to do gotten on short notice but you’ll always be free to crash at the fraternity house - and just tell your pledge master your situation and you’ll be fine.
