bid rally spring 2019

Sigma chi: took some good guys with a few questionable.

Phi delt: literally gave every single kid and their mother a bid.

Alpha sig: took the best class by far if you’re looking at looks/diversity.

Pike: had like 3 good kids

Sigma nu: .... can’t remember

Little diversity and not too many kids in general. Badly planned at MSC lol

Pike, and alpha Sig took did the WORST and took some nerdy kids this spring

The older I get the more I cringe at posts like this. Greek life is ultimately about philanthropy, making friends, meeting people. If you look down on other chapters because the guys or girls aren’t “cool” enough for you it’s just pathetic. Some high school kids can even grasp this. Do you really think when you graduate you’re going to care? It’s so childish to say certain fraternities got “nerdy” guys or whatever. When all is said and done if bids were given to guys they genuinely saw something in that’s all that matters. And what they SHOULD be looking for is guys who will be involved, guys who value friendship and brotherhood, guys who care about others and they can trust around girls that come to their parties, guys that are open to diversity or bring some type of diversity, and guys that care about their academics. I’m sorry but long term that’s what matters. What doesn’t matter is how “cool” they are. We are in college. Grow up.
