by: RankingsHow do you guys rank a fraternity? How does one become a top house? According to Sigma Chi's post it is all about the way you look. That seems girly and superficial to me. I thought joining a fraternity was about being a brotherhood, networking opportunities, parties (somewhat), etc.

What you described is the way that fraternities SHOULD be ranked. Unfortunately though that's not the case. It IS based solely on looks and it is completely superficial. What you described, in reality, is what matters but a lot of people don't care and just want to rage and just care about girls and alcohol.

Looks play a role but also
1.) How we'll the chapter does in IMs
2.) Does the chapter have a house especially on-campus.
I didn't see the Sigma Chi post but "looks" are more about how you dress. Yes the guys at Sigma Chi look handsome like me but there are some not so handsome guys too. You can change all of that by buying a pair of Sperries.
