rushing as a sophomore

So I’m transferring to USF Fall 2019, and I was wondering if it’s worth going through rush as a sophomore? (I’m a female).
The school I currently attend is really nasty to sophomores during rush week unless you have someone in the house to vouch for you. But I was just wondering if it’s the same here

As long as you're not a jr/sr you're fine. All the girls in my rush group were sophomores.

I came in as a junior and did just fine. If you find the house that you're meant to be at they will not care what year you are and will just want to get to know you.
