any other pnms out there felt awkward at kd?
by: About to be your sisterOkay so I got invited back but I felt like they only were concerned about my looks? One girl asked me where I got my top from and their questions were very superficial. Also this chapter doesn’t have any diversity! I live in a dorm where I’m exposed to extreme diversity in culture and background but when I went to them, it’s all rich blonde girls who are getting everything paid by parents. Nothing against that, I’m blonde myself LOL but I’m not an airhead or superficial. I did like Adpi, DG, and DDD was the friendliest. ZTA was semi friendly.

Really? I didn’t have that experience. I liked KD, Loved tridelt and also like ADPi and dg.
I wouldn’t say there is much diversity in any of the sororities, all pretty much white and middle class to upper middle class, which is pretty common Greek life. It seemed like maybe sdt and sk had a little more diversity but really not by much. I got some “superficial” questions but can’t really fault them for not asking thought provoking gquestions all the time, it’s impossible in these situations.
I’m so nervous but I am happy I decided to do this and excited to see what happens!

Hmm. I actually really liked KD. They had a ton of diversity but actually didn’t ask me superficial questions when I went. (I talked mostly about volunteer service with them.) But then again we all get different sisters to talk to, so who knows. 🤷🏼♀️
Also superficial compliments on appearance are just ice breakers to get your guard down. At least at recruitment.
