do i have to be thick-skinned to be in a fraternity?

First thing is first- I’m very sensitive and can be self conscious too. I get butthurt pretty easily (let’s say some random person unfriended me on snap and I’ll be worried). So is my type fit to be in a fraternity? I’m genuinely curious. Also tbh I’ve very few guy friends lol. Most of my friends are girls and I actually want guy friends and a brotherly network (hence I want to rush). But based on what I said about myself, am I someone who should rush? Also certain things like politics and religious stuff can trigger me too. Help a PNM out, bro?

You have to have thick skin if you want to survive in the real world. During rush make sure that if you do get triggered to not show it. By the sounds of it you should join a frat to help with that.

People joke around, so try to stop being so sensitive.

Just go through rush and figure out if it’s right for you. Try to choose your house based on who you can see yourself getting along with/ becoming a better person.
