what can i do

Not exactly Greek related although I am in a sorority -and love it!- but I’ve been on and off with same guy since mid freshmen year and I am now a sophomore and I always say I’m gonna get over him but I can’t. And he has said he isn’t ready for a relationship but he does care about me and I know this is true that he cares because it’s obvious but also he knows I want more of a commitment that he doesn’t want. He had a bad breakup before me and says he is over his girlfriend from the past but he I know for sure they have talked as friends. I just feel depressed about this because nobody compares to him in my eyes but I basically feel I just am not that important to him but then he says I am so i don’t know. How do you stop talking to someone you love?
