living on campus/in house?

by:

I’m going through recruitment this fall. Do you have to move into the sorority house if you live on campus already? Also, is it fun to live in the houses? does anyone think it’s a worthwhile experience or should I pass on it if given the chance? Sorry for all the questions!

The sororities are all different here on their requirements for living in the house. Many sororities do require members live in the house at one point or another, but I don’t believe any force you to move into the house straight away in the middle of the year. I personally haven’t lived in my sorority house (yet) but I’ve heard that many girls enjoy it and get super close to sisters while some don’t like it so much and just prefer their own space. I think your house experience is what you make it and what you put into it. Good luck and hope this helps!

If you enjoy any privacy or quiet, dont live in the house.
