question for guys

Do any guys even post on here? Not sure but what I really want to know is why all guys it seems don't get over the first girl they really loved.
Most girls I know are over it but most guys I know aren't. It is sad to me because it's impossible to compete with that so why is this

I'm not a guy but I know where you're coming from. My older brother always says guys only really fall in love once and spend the rest of their lives trying to recreate that unless they're lucky enough to get to be with that girl they fell in love with .
Guys are more romantic-minded than girls in some ways believe it or not but they dont truly fall in love with every girl they like or have a relationship with.
