1. Conversation: You will be asked about your major and basic stuff the first day. Know your strengths! Wow the sisters with great stories. Are you a dancer, model, travel expert? Make your stories purposeful so that you stand out. You will only have a short time to impress each sister. DO NOT TALK ABOUT DRINKING, BOYS, OR WILD PARTIES!
2. Dress: Unfortunately, looks are important, especially to a top tier house. People tend to group together based on similarities and looks are the easiest/quickest way to differentiate. Dress appropriately and keep your goodies tucked in. You want to seem put together and not like a standards concern.
3. Don't freak if you were cut by a house. It is for the best. You want to feel accepted by all the sisters; no one wants to feel like they don't fit in.

Also if you're cut by a house keep a positive attitude and a smile on your face because no one wants a grumpy pnm or wants to feel like your second choice. Don't talk about other houses with certain houses either because it will get back to that house and you might get dropped from recruitment, we have all pnms names and you will have a name tag.
