if you're rushing in fall read

by: seen it so many times

Just a word of advice, DO NOT go through rush or pick a house strictly based on tier. So many of my friends do it and almost all of them regret it because they weren't being themselves and they ended up in thr wrong house. Just be yourself and give where ever you run home to a chance because you never know, you may end up loving it even more than you would've loved the house you wanted. There are cool people in ever house and I have friends in all of them so be kind during recruitment too.things get back to us. Recruitment is supposed to be fun so show us your best self and just enjoy it! Good luck to all.

Well if I had to guess, the person disliked it because the post said everyone she knows who went upper tier regrets it which is obviously bs

Some girls regret where they end up, sure, but if anything that's generally those that end up in bottom tier (no I'm not saying you can't regret where you end up if you're top tier so don't @me).

When did the person ever even talk about upper tier? Idk why you're making this even about top amd bottom tier. Don't be so defensive it makes you sound upset. Even though that may be your experience it isn't most peoples.

Many times "miss thing" from HS comes to rush with the attitude that she will only join upper or mid upper houses only and that there is no way that they won't all want her on their bid list- she was SGA VP in HS, on the homecoming court, single handedly raised money to support an orphan oveseas, Etc. Well guess what? A good 90% of the PNMs have similar resumes' and they all want bids. So get off your high horse. In those sororities eyes you might be in the 89 percentile. You may have to humble yourself. If you "research" and don't give all chapters a chance and go into recruitment only wanting a few specific houses I guarentee you will not get a bid.

Please listen to this advice pnms and think long and hard about how much tier will matter after college. Just join whereever you think has the girls that will support and love you for who you are regardless of the "tier"
