rushing in the fall

My step brother and I are coming to USF this fall and are going through recruitment. Our parents are super skeptical of it and believe it will interfere with our academics and I am not quite sure if it will or not. What fraternities and sororities on this campus are more known to be the more "studious" ones? Do they require certain GPAs?

SigKap, Chi O; all sororities have their own requirements for gpa's, usually around the 2.75-3.0 range
