fraternities that can make big splash

With summer B already here. This is the time when the "who do you know here" rule doesn't apply. Freshman you're lucky you can go to every single party and bar and will be treated as royalty if you're a stud. It's a great feeling and take advantage cause in the fall it won't be close to the same when you become a pledge. Now let's look at fraternities that can make a big splash. In order
"Top tier"
Delta chi- these boys lost recruitment last spring but we sure as hell know they have a spring class waiting to be initiated in the fall. Look for their pledge class to be huge just cause of that.
Sigma chi- the Italian stallions. these guys will probably have a pledge class of about 15 with the majority looking good.
Sigma nu- yes they recruited goobs last year. Now it's time for them to prove themselves and see if they can recruit a Studly class. They seem to be falling. They won the Greek cup but they should be thankful their athletic chair put them in every IM sport ranging from badminton to tube polo
Upper middle tier-
Pike- got some studs last year can't lie. Only thing is they are getting bigger but their "house" isn't. This could lead to a disconnection between many brothers. Their apartment complex is by far the Achilles heel of pike.
Kappa sigma- the diversity is astounding. They are getting bigger but their "house" isn't. Kappa sigma has always been at this tier and has never managed to overcome it. They are usually solid.

Middle tier
Phi Delta Theta- let's hope these guys are ready to finally make it. They have everything they need to be able to go upper or top by next year. An official off campus house, their reputation isn't tainted, and their guys are solid.
Pi kappa phi- they've been known for being goobs but every year their pledge class has gotten better. They win every philanthropy they do and are competitive. My bet is they do well during fall recruitment.
Zbt- give them credit They always come up with huge pledge classes. They have some studs in the fraternity. But if their pledges classes turn out like the ones last year then they will be in the same position and reputation as the past years.

Lower tier-
Not much to say and each will need lots of work.
Alpha sigma phi- if you want a fraternity that is really involved on campus then I recommend you join them. Their guys are great. People mainly join because they're known as the pre med fraternity.
Final words:
Look at every single fraternity and really get to know them. Get to know them sober cause take it from me I met a lot of cool ass dudes when I was drunk or high with them but once I sobered and got to know them I realized a decent amount were douchebags that I didn't want to hang with. Take advantage of the opportunity but remember get your grades right cause if you mess up during summer B then you definitely won't be rushing in the fall.
