Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 1.0 This sorority is actually horrible. We aren’t allowed to wear crop tops for bid days, we’re not allowed to even crop or cut the regular shirts because it’s not “Deia friendly”. We had a frat throwing darts at our faces because a girl gave them our composite. The girl also said the n word in a black individual’s face, and she was not expelled!!!! Now, they are expelling people unnecessarily, even though they already have horrible retention. You guys are going to end up with five members, and it’s going to consist of people convincing themselves that everything is “fine”. don’t even get me started on what that girl did at Sig Pi…. So ****ing disgusting, valid expulsion as well. In addition, the events are horrible and we are misled everytime. One of our formals we were told it was a rooftop venue(it was not), one of our sisterhood retreats was at Dirtona beach instead of universal like everyone requested, and so much more. Nobody works together, and we have the means to have nice things, as we have consistently have over 10k left in funds at the end of each school year, which we are FORCED to donate. And cannot carry over into the next year. I have met my friends through this chapter, which I am thankful for, but I have also met some of the most nasty people alive. I’ve met racists, homophobes, and just the most terrible people inside and out. And don’t even get me started on our relations with other frats and sororities. We LOSE money on our philos, no one participates, and no other chapter on campus even knows what we are fundraising for/what events we hold!!! I don’t know how anyone can still support this anymore, I’m looking forward to them fizzling out.

They used to be a great group of smart women with a future who genuinely wanted the best for each other, and have done a complete 180. They are NOT girls girls (for the most part) and treat each other terribly. The cliques in this “sisterhood” will straight up lie about their best friends, and report each other to be spiteful. Their exec board gets members fined, excluded, bullied, and punished for things as simple as 10 mins late, being out of town, and bullies members with a disability. I have seen 6+ incidents personally of members being abused and harassed by GRADUATED advisors in their 30s/40s and threatened if they did not drop the sorority. The cops have been called in front of new members MULTIPLE TIMES in the last year alone. Those in power in this sorority abuse it and I would avoid it at ALL COSTS.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 3.4 It’s really sad to see what the exec board is doing to this sorority. A lot of actual members are nice, fun and normal girls but their new exec is tanking them. They need to stop pushing out their good members and handing out desperate bids to the weirdos. Hold your chapter to a higher standard and it will reflect in your members. Having standards for your members isn’t a bad thing, you can be inclusive and pick quality members at the same time. They give out bids just for the hell of it and end up with girls who have no friends bc they’re weird, or half their members drop.

This is a group of miserable people, with miserable standing. Who love doing things to make their sorority worse. It’s almost a sport at this point. Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 4.4 I’ve seen these girls make such good friendships. I’m friends with many of them as someone not in Greek life but I’ve been to their events and genuinely, I see such great friendships within this sorority! I hope they continue these connections and grow as a chapter!

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of South Florida Tampa - USF 3.5 If your entire chapter has an issue with you that if a reflection of how you treated your sisters now how they treated you. People in the chapter have genuinely found so many girls who they hold near and dear to their hearts, one bad seed doesn’t change a chapters genuine sisterhood.
