Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority Ratings at USF

Nice girls on campus. Recruiting was nice during rush. Seem to support each other. Wish I got the bid with them.

Listen, I joined this sorority because I thought I might get a chance to just have fun and meet some people. I'm a queer person who is NOT naturally inclined towards Greek life at all. So, I thought this might be a small place I could feel safe and try something new. While, compared to other sororities, AOII seems nice, it's really not that much different from the others. Just because they're less popular and more "accepting" does not make them immune to the broken system that is Panhellenic. With how unpopular they are, they're desperate to get new members. So, they're more likely to scam you out of your money, only because Panhellenic is constantly trying to scam their chapters too. Not to mention, they all hate each other and are constantly stirring drama that made me feel like I was back in high school. With all the pressure to appear as "perfect" as some of the other sororities seem (which I've heard are far worse but don't have experience with), they take it out on each other. Maybe it's different at other schools, I don't know, but at USF it's so evident that Greek life is broken to it's very core. It's just one long chain of abuse and power trips after another. For the love of god, don't go through recruitment. Save your money and health. Go join a club or talk to people in class or visit a boba shop. I guarantee you that you will make friends much more easily there. Then, you won't have wasted as much of your life like I did.

They are sadly a bottom tier sorority, but absolutely the best one. AOII is the most inclusive and accepting sorority on campus by far. If you are queer, this is where you want to be. They will love and accept you, and they are all so amazing.

This sorority has its social groups. It’s like being in high school again. If you do not live in the house you practically won’t be invited to anything that isn’t a mandatory event. I saw a lot of “families” fall through.

Beware if you’re thinking of rushing with aoii. I know you may want to give the worst sorority on campus a chance out of pity, but it should be avoided at all costs. If you’re looking for a chapter that values big/little relationships, this is not the one. I saw so many “families” turn on one another. So much gossip but everyone makes up stories about themselves to look more interesting.

Mean girls who give Greek life a bad reputation. This chapter doesn’t belong on USF’s campus. It’s embarrassing.

AOII has such a strong sisterhood and it is clear at recruitment and during all the events they attend that they actually like hanging out with each other.

I regret not going aopi. they’re so sweet and do not ya know dirty rush if ur rushing give this sorority a chance.

Amazing women and fun to hang with. Best sorority on campus. The sisters are diverse and willing to help
