Nah, I would say informal is just a lot more relaxed and it's usually better for people who have an idea of where they want to go

Not really, less desirable chapters usually do recruitment so they tend to have a more lax policy for letting people in

^ not actually, there have been years where every chapter on campus does informal. Don't let a stupid assumption like this keep you from doing informal recruitment

whether a sorority does informal recruitment all has to do with their numbers and how many people they can still take. Don't let anyone get it into your head that its because they are "less desirable"
