Excited for UVM

my honest opinion- there are so many other ways to get involved at UVM that doesn't involve joining greek life <3 the SAs are not taken seriously, it's super expensive for no reason, and it's really cliquey! You deserve so much better than that love!

I joined to be a part of a group of likeminded people who have the same core values, strive for high academic achievement and just have fun with eachother. The first reply you got definitely isn't in Greek life. Uvm has a lot of students here who know little to nothing about Greek life but will hate on it for negative stereotypes regardless or just don't understand all the programming we do. Greek life is great if you want to meet people with diverse interests rather than a club for a specific thing. Although it's not everything on campus and we often do get a lot of unwarranted hate from other students it might be worth a try as long as you're joining the right organization for you and doing it for the right reasons
