someone please explain

Sad that I'm an underclassmen who went through recruitment this year and I feel like I possess more maturity than a lot of the people posting on here. I'm really surprised by the amount of hate that the different chapters are throwing at each other. I thought that I was coming into a loving community. Like can anyone give me a good reason WHY they feel the need to post mean things, or things that are meant to convince people not to join a chapter on here?
