the process

Recruitment consists of 3 days. the first day is called Panhellenic day, which is basically a get to know you type of day. You go to all six houses for about 30 minutes and talk about basic stuff (i.e major, where are you from, etc) Once you are done with all the houses you are taken back to the union and put in your top 4 choices. the second day you are assigned houses that you wanted/were called back for. some people get called back to four houses, some only two and in very small cases you may not get called back at all. the second day is philanthropy day and house tours. you learn about each houses charities, as well as take a tour of their house and learn about finances. once you are done with this day you go back to the union and put in your top two choices. the final day is call Preference and it is a formal day. You go to dinner at one house and desert at the next. you are paired up with one person for this night and you get to hear the more intimate reasons on why the actives chose the house they are in. after preference you go back to the union and sign a contract stating you want XYZ as your top choice and YZX as your second choice. then the next day is bid day where you see which house you got!
