Girls with poor grades are kicked out by a chapter vote. Unfair and disgusting. I would hate to be a theta.

I kind of thought this was sad too. However, I asked one of my Theta friends about it. She said that it is in their bylaws. If they don't make a 2.0 they are put on probation. They can be on grade probation 3 x's before their pin is pulled. It is not really a vote but a forced kind of action- they don't really have a choice. I have mixed feelings but if your grades are that low you probably shouldn't be at TU much less in a sorority. I kind of wish my sorority would do it. I'm sick of the same girls not making grades and bringing us down.

Girls with poor grades are kicked out of all the houses... Especially when they are kicked out of the university.
