I am a USF Theta alum and I hope this message is able to make a difference in the mind of someone. If I was going through recruitment all over again, I would still go Theta. However, I can't deny how disappointing it has been to see zero forward growth /positive change in the organization in the years I was apart of it and in the time since going alum; the sisterhood aspect was lacking when I was in school, and it lacks even still as an alumni to not be contacted by the chapter once since leaving. Theta is an amazing organization and luckily I was able to meet some incredible women through it, but the largeness of the chapter paired with the stagnant nature of traditions made genuine "sisterhood" nearly impossible.

To be honest, I'm in greek life at University of San Francisco. Me, along with a LOT of other girls who I have spoken to in my chapter and DZ have agreed that if Tri Delta was on campus when we were rushing, we would have wanted to join their sisterhood instead. They have a great group of girls, so friendly, and a clearly well-established sisterhood. Although they're new, they are rocking it! They had the best recruitment video this year as well, and their philanthropy touches a lot of peoples hearts.

They're not on Greek council which means that they can be overlooked at times. What I like about them is that they're not the typical "Who do you even know here bro?" type of fraternity people that you see in the movies or in the large state schools. They are really nice and cool guys! They're heavily involved with social justice/service but they're also fun to party with at the same time!

I'm in a sorority that isn't at USF because I'm a transfer student. I have met so many Tridelts and they are so awesome. I love their school spirit and their philanthropy. They seem to do a lot with Delta Zeta and various cultural fraternities. They are really well respected on campus. Panhellenic LOVE to them.

Really haven't seen great things from this sisterhood. Even in such a small chapter, they really don't know each other at all. Really sad to see, but will hopefully get better over time.
