If you look on Greek rank you can really start to see the stereotypes. I'm not saying it's true as I only what internally goes on in my own sorority but unfortunately with joining a sorority there comes a " stereotype" to that particular one that isn't necessarily true for every girl. I honestly think that going in to recruitment by listening to others opinions will hinder your experience overall because the sorority you pick is who you'll be with for the rest of your life! And I would like to add i looove my sisters <3

Ok note what's considered " top" can differ depending what you're looking for. Want top sororities for partying:
Kkg and aphi
Top sororities for sisterhood
All the other ones (lol)
Top sorority in academics
Kao

Just note the other sororities party too so you should be looking at more than just the top party sorority. With that comes some shallow high school cliquey drama that causes lots of girls to drop

In my opinion here are the rankings, along with pros of each sorority, not cons because every sorority is great in it's own way.
Aphi- known for being pretty girls, they get a bad rep sometimes but they have a lot of really sweet and fun girls worth getting to know.
Kappa- also known for having pretty girls. Guys love them because they love to party. A lot of surprisingly smart girls too
Gphi- they have a lot of smart girls because of their high mandatory gpa. A lot of down to earth and naturey girls.
AXO- cute girls who are known for being some of the nicest on campus
Theta- Thetas involvement is off the charts. They know how to have a strong presence in student leadership and have the highest gpa of all the sororities (I think?)
KD- Even though they are new, they have made an impact on Greek life. They are becoming more and more involved and are making their way as a solid sorority
ADpi- these girls sometimes get overlooked, but they are extremely involved and proud of their sorority. They always wear letters and have a lot
of surprisingly cute girls

Aphi/Kappa- both are top houses, known for pretty girls and partying a lot.
Gphi- very low key girls, don't see them out as much anymore but still quite a few pretty ones.
Theta- smart and involved girls, kinda stuck up.
AXO- the super sweet girls that are great friends. Don't go out a lot. Moving up!
ADPi- Super nice girls and a lot of pretty ones too. Are moving up!
KD- new sorority, some pretty girls. Don't have a stereotype yet.

aphi: party, hot
kappa: party, pretty, hot, social, friendly
gphi: pretty, smart, not as social as kappa or aphi
achi: cute, involved, friendly, not very social
kd: pretty, some hot, mixed bag
theta: smart, weird, but some cute, not very social
adpi: weird, bottom, not very social
