Let’s understand that most of the time sorority rankings are meant to pit us against each other. Rank doesn’t matter as long as you’re happy. Also, people that post these are the reasons why Panhel has major retention problems during recruitment. Women need to support each other, not try to “outrank” one another.

Same can be said for fraternities as well. It’s important during rush to go back the chapters that you are getting along with the best and feel happy with. Too often guys rush chapters that aren’t good fits for them or they aren’t really fitting in with because of preconceived notions about which one is the best or stereotypes.

Thanks Mother Theresa for your commentary, however, what all these freshman on here really care about are rankings and that’s just facts. Everyone knows that these rankings exist, someone just decided to write them out. Competitiveness between the sororities and frats exists at USD as it does every other college. Healthy competition and unique and distinct qualities between sororities and frats is what makes members within them proud to represent. You can go back to hugging a tree and solving world hunger now.
