which frat should i join??? (2)
by: Helpful BrotherSecond, fraternity stereotypes. Either through this website, word of mouth, or personal experience, you will be subject to generalized attitudes toward specific fraternities. It's natural to be concerned about an organization's reputation (whether it’s accurate or not) before joining them. That being said, if you're basing this decision on what other people think, you're probably not joining for the right reasons. What's more important is how an organization seeks to define itself. If you resonate with the internal atmosphere of a group you will find yourself active and happy member of it. That's why it is in a fraternity's best interest to be honest about their member’s values, because otherwise they will recruit members who are dissatisfied with the environment they’re in and become a drag on the fraternity.
