What's Hot - University of Puget Sound - UPS

They are popular and they are active around campus. However, I don't see a brotherhood in this chapter. Instead, as a whole, it seems like the guys in this chapter are just friends or friendly acquaintances. From what I can tell they like being an SAE but they don't associate themselves as being a part of the University's Greek community.

Simply the best. I love the ladies of Gamma Phi Beta because they are so down to earth and friendly. They show a lot of pride in their organization and do not bash other sororities and fraternities. Each member values academics, which is evident since their house has had the highest GPA out of all the other Greek organizations. Moreover, they are well-respected amongst the UPS faculty. These women are truly the leading ladies around campus.

I love Sigma Chi. They are the most genuine group of men around. Always considerate and inviting. These guys are really involved around campus and you'll always see a Sigma Chi supporting one of their brothers. It's refreshing to see that nice guys still exist in the Puget Sound Greek system.

If you want a really relaxed sorority that doesn't have as much overall pride for their sorority then this is the place for you. Some cool girls, some not cool girls. I don't see G Phis on campus wearing they're letters. I always see Pi Phi, A Phi, and Theta letters but never G Phi. Not impressed with overall involvement.

So the new class from spring 2013 is great, and they are going to turn this sorority in the right direction, but right now the senior class is holding them back academically, socially, and popularity wise. If all the girls who get bids from this up coming spring join this sorority it could be awesome and as a member of greek life this excites me! I want to see KAT grow, they've got potential, so if you want to join a cool sorority with some corky, sweet girls don't count them out!

They DO spend time together, take Monday nights as an example. They all sit together at dinner and take up one of the full long tables and there's not enough room for everyone. As far as mean and superficial, yeah I'm sure there are some people who have had a bad run in with a pi phi once or twice, but that happens with most people, not just pi phis. Pi Phi is extremely diverse with girls in all types of campus activities. They're totally inclusive and have friends who are greek and non greek.

I've heard that they're super rude to anyone not in their house, and experienced it already. They're definitely not an option for a lot of freshmen. Maybe learn to be nice to people, and you'd have more girls wanting to be in your house? Just a thought.
