okay here's the thing...

Rushing a sorority based on looks/popularity/dumb stuff like that is one of the stupidest things you can do. Are you getting involved for a sisterhood, or to be one of the popular girls for a couple of years of your very long life? If you're joining a sisterhood only because it's stereotyped for being pretty/mixes with the "better" fraternities, what's the point? What will that matter a few years down? If you're joining a sisterhood where you feel the love and a sense of belonging, then you're doing it right. Those are the ones that you'll stay in touch with, that'll be your bridesmaids, etc. I'm not even saying that you can't have sisterhood in the top tier sororities, I'm just saying that you need to join for the right reasons. Big picture here, ladies!
