What did the fraternities that lost their charters do? I only ask because I'm curious and I hear a lot of rumors. I'm independent and am thinking about rushing fraternities but after hearing some of the rumors (which I'm not sure is true) I don't think I want to. What's the truth?

The ones who got kicked off just did stupid things. One had a party when they were already on probation and a girl wound up in the hospital bc she drank too much. But since it happened at a party that wasnt even approved they lost their charter

Still it seems some of the frats who were kicked off campus (PIKE, APES) are partying harder if not just as hard as ANY on campus frat.

Pike DTD and apes don't exist anymore and are irrelevant to Pitt

Obviously they aren't irrelevant if they throw great parties and have great groups of guys
