service greeks

Hi everyone, I'm going to be a freshman this coming semester! I was wondering what the general public opinion is on Pitt's service frats/sorority? I'm not too sure I'd fit into a traditionally Greek organization, and was wondering on how they're perceived on campus? Thanks for any help#

They're nothing like true Greek groups...and do a lot less around campus than an actual sorority or fraternity..

^^thats not necessarily true I'm in Greek life and a service frat and yes they aren't anything alike but the service groups for the most part are very involved with campus to a greater extent than most Greek orgs. Don't expect it to be as fun tho.

They're perceived just fine, and many have hot members. They just don't mix with fraternities or anything. They're all business.
